At gymnasiet, you no longer attend the same class as everyone else of the same age. Here, you choose from different programs. You can/could pick between 2, 3, and 4 year programs. I selected the 4 year technical program.

My friend from 1st grade, Stefan, also selected that, but we ended up in different classes. My class was a combined class with half from the technical program and half from the 'Naturvetenskapliga' program.
